Anna Meldolesi (the beautiful ones in the pictures below are Rosalind Franklin and Emmanuelle Charpentier!). I studied biology at the University of Bologna and science communication at Sissa in Trieste. I regularly write for the leading newspaper Corriere della Sera and for the Italian edition of Scientific American. Since 2000 I have covered biotech news for the Italian and international press, including Nature Biotechnology. My latest book, published by Bollati Boringhieri, is about the genome editing revolution. In 2022 I co-authored with the microbiologist Andrea Crisanti an essay on the pandemic for the European Investment Bank.
