Anna Meldolesi (the beautiful ones in the pictures below are Rosalind Franklin and Emmanuelle Charpentier!). I’m adjunct professor of scientific journalism at the University of Bologna. After graduating in biology in Bologna I studied science communication at Sissa in Trieste. I write for the leading newspaper Corriere della Sera and for the Italian edition of Scientific American. Since 2000 I have covered biotech news for the Italian and international press, including Nature Biotechnology. My latest book, published by Bollati Boringhieri, is about the genome editing revolution. In 2022 I co-authored with the microbiologist Andrea Crisanti an essay on the pandemic for the European Investment Bank.
